Welcome to Sterling & Law Hertfordshire
Sterling & Law Hertfordshire is a firm of independent financial advisers. We specialise in providing pension and investment advice to individuals and businesses.
As independent financial advisers we are not tied to any financial institutions and it is our goal to provide you with the best possible financial solutions from the whole of the market. Being part of the Sterling & Law Group ensures that we have access to the high quality research facilities required to fulfil this objective.
We have built a strong reputation in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Our client base has grown largely by word of mouth as well as through introductions from local accountants and solicitors.
Our success is built on keeping our clients happy. We achieve this by providing a regular review service to all our pension and investment clients. This means that the advice you will receive is not just a ‘one-off’ but a ‘new beginning’ backed up by a lifetime of support and advice.
The first meeting with us is free and we are happy to come to you. We are paid for our advice by way of fees and we will explain the likely cost of advice at our first meeting.

With over 20 years experience in providing financial advice for high net worth individuals, Becky prides herself on the long term relationships she has built with clients over that time.
As an independent financial adviser, the most important aspect of financial planning for her is really getting to know and understand the needs and aspirations of each client. This results in working with them to ensure the most appropriate solutions are found to achieve their goals and reviewing annually to keep on track.
Becky believes that everyone can benefit from financial planning and that you are never too young or too old to start. A good financial review will encompass all aspects of financial life and is inter-generational, starting from junior ISA’s to inheritance tax planning.
Her expertise is in holistic, goal based planning, covering the following areas:
Protection – life, critical illness and income protection
Retirement – saving for retirement, taking retirement, pensions, annuities, hybrid solutions
Investments – tax efficiency, inflation proofing, diversifying from cash holdings
Savings – for longer term goals, children, grandchildren, tax efficiency
Mortgages – residential, buy to let and equity release
Becky is a member of the Women in Business network and loves spending her spare time with friends and family, chauffeuring her two teenage daughters around and walking her unruly dachshund.
